Liability & Responsibility Disclaimer
Effective immediately for all users of Alliance Field Ops.
1. Independent contractors
Every technician, crew, and company using Alliance Field Ops is an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of the software provider or of the alliance itself. Each contractor is solely responsible for the quality, safety, licensing, insurance, and warranty of the work they perform.
2. Payments are collected by contractors
Contractors collect all invoices, card payments, cash, and financing directly in their own business accounts. Alliance Field Ops does not receive, hold, escrow, or pay out customer funds. The only charge the software provider assesses is the 2.5% software-rent fee, billed to the contractor.
3. Software only
Alliance Field Ops provides marketing, routing, scheduling, and management tools. It does not perform home services, dispatch employees, or guarantee any repair, installation, or maintenance outcome. The contractor you are matched with is your service provider.
4. No joint venture liability
The alliance is a non-equity arrangement among independent contractors for shared back-office efficiency. Membership in the alliance, use of shared branding, or lead sharing does not make one contractor liable for the acts, omissions, or debts of another contractor or of the software provider.
5. Disputes
Any dispute about workmanship, pricing, scheduling, damage, or warranty must be directed to the contractor who performed the work. The software provider's only obligation is to keep the tool available and to bill the agreed software fee.
6. Acceptance
By requesting service, creating a crew account, or using any Alliance Field Ops tool, you acknowledge that contractors are independent businesses, that you are contracting directly with them, and that the software provider's role is limited to providing the platform.
